With compassion, kindness and love we can come together not only with all humans, but with all creation. I live and will work everyday to find the light within me so I can share that light with others.
I will oppose all forms of inequality and bigotry with an ethic of revolutionary love by [refusing to mirror fear and hate, fighting systemic injustice not just individuals, standing up in solidarity, etc.]. Revolutionary love is knowing when something is wrong and standing up against the wrong. Making the people who are doing the wrongs know that I will not abide by rights being taken away or people being hurt for their nationality, sex, sexual preference or religion. WE are the people of America. We will not let our country stand for inequality of any type. Rachel Johnson #RevolutionaryLove #WomensMarch #LoveArmy #1BillionRising
“There are really only 2 emotions. Love and Fear. Which one will you choose today? Let me start. I choose love. It is fear that causes people to push away another person...it is our fear of those that we really don't know that leads to assumptions about people we really don't know. Love, on the other hand, acknowledges other people. Love is not soft. It does not mean passive agreement. But it does mean acknowledging that each and every human person deserves to belong, to participate, to contribute and to succeed in our society. Love is the answer to fear.Read more
A love army must self-govern with love: Power-equivalence, consent, transparency, efficiency, and fun. All No's honored. All ideas fully heard. Spokescouncils. Safe, small groups. Radical nonviolence. Huge, overwhelming critical mass. Chocolate, massage, kittens.
“Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.” - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (1967 Speech, “Where Do We Go From Here?”)Read more
Autonomy, allowing room for others and self to make choices we know are just and right.
Acceptance of others and self of our uniqueness, challenges, abilities and talents.
Acknowledgement of others and self for we are all valued people.
Accountability of others and self for all the choices we make, good or not for this allows us to understand better what worked and what needs work.
If inclusiveness and interdependence is encouraged through these 4 A's, then there would be no room for fear and hatred.
I will stand with ALL people in harm's way. I will practice revolutionary love by protesting, organizing... and in particular, by helping my client's in every way I possibly can. Those that are innocence and those that are guilty. I will take care of myself and keep my soul happy in order to continue this fight against systemic injustice. #RevolutionaryLove #LoveArmy #WomensMarch #JusticeWarriorinProgress
