WHAT IS #ICANTKEEPQUIET?

#ICANTKEEPQUIET is a global movement initiated by musician MILCK, which was sparked by the viral video of her song "Quiet".

ICANTKEEPQUIET.ORG is where MILCK and her team facilitate safe and creative spaces for our individual voices, identities and experiences to be shared. They believe that we can heal the human condition, one voice at a time.

MILCK, #ICANTKEEPQUIET, AND #LOVEARMY are excited to invite you to #ICANTKEEPQUIET day on April 8, 2017, for a global day of song and sharing.

FREE YOUR VOICE:

  1. Sing "Quiet" by yourself or with a choir. [Download Learning Toolkit Here] For all choirs, you can choose from Version 1 (8 part harmony), Version 2 (4 part harmony), or the Version 3 (2 part harmony).

  2. If you don’t sing, express yourself however you'd like (telling your story, dancing, painting, calling your mom or long lost friend to share something important to you). *Extra credit if you Facebook live so we can see it too!

  3. Post your experience with hashtag #ICANTKEEPQUIET, #LOVEARMY and geographic location, so the world can join in on the healing! We will be surfing through the hashtags with location tags to share them on our ICKQ map afterwards.

SING WITH MILCK IN PERSON:

MILCK will be at the Washington Square Park (note this is a new location- we are NOT meeting at Central Park) in New York at 1pm, EST. Meet at the fountain to sing "Quiet" with MILCK.

MILCK has written Version 3, which is a 2 part harmony for this NYC flashmob. If you have already learned another part from another version, feel free to sing that as well! All parts will work together.
