Kids tell Trump: We Belong Together - Washington DC march

IMG_0005.PNG

On April 10th, forty primarily Latinx and Black young people will board a bus leaving Miami heading to DC with stops in Atlanta and Raleigh, North Carolina. They’ll end their journey in DC - meeting up with kids and youth from DC, New York, Colorado, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina - and creating a giant interlocking circle in front of the White House at Lafayette Park. The Caravan and the unity circle action in DC will build towards a kid-led National Week of Action starting on April 17, where kids and their families will form their own circles to demonstrate their unbreakable bond and call upon local elected leaders to stand strong against policies that threaten to tear communities apart.

The We Belong Together Kids Caravan is organized by the We Belong Together Campaign. Co-sponsors include WeCount!, PowerU, the American Friends Service Committee, the Women’s March, #LoveArmy, MomsRising, and more.
